Beloved husband of the late Josephine, nee Czupryn, Tunney; loving father of Patrick (Kathleen) Tunney and Frances Tunney; loving grandfather of Patrick (Suzette), Martin, Susan, Robin Tunney, Scott Donohue, Brian (Tomoko) Donohue, Christine (Jeff) Graefen; great-grandfather of Tyler, Matthew, and Nia Tunney, Christopher Donohue, Amber and Charlie Graefen; fond brother of William Tunney and the late John, James, Patrick Tunney, Margaret McNicholas, Michael and Thomas Tunney; uncle of many nieces and nephews.
