Ruth J. Mark, nee Hamby, 82, of Sturgeon Bay, WI and Blue Island, IL, formerly of Riverdale, IL, passed away Saturday evening, Oct. 8, 2005 at Door County Memorial Hospital with her family by her side. She is survived by daughter, JerryLynn Mark of Sturgeon Bay, WI; son, Terry (Diane) Mark of Naples, FL; three grandchildren, Robin Mark of Blue Island, IL, Amy Mark of Grayslake, IL and Brian Mark of Naples, FL; one great-grandson, Jacob; also survived by a brother and sister, William (Delores) Hamby and Hazel (John) Johnson; sister-in-law, Florence Neuman; Aunt Ruby (Ed) Jankuskis; along with many nieces and nephews. Ruth was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 57 years, Mr. Jerry A. Mark; her parents and her sister, Maxine Nicholson. Ruth was employed at Federal Sign & Signal and retired from Ameritech in 1984. Family will meet with friends at Cedar Park Funeral Home, 12540 S. Halsted, Calumet Park, 708-388-8605 , for visitation on Wednesday, Oct. 12, 2005 from 10 a.m. til time of Service at 2 p.m., with Father Matt Eyerman officiating. Entombment private at Cedar Park Cemetery Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations made in Ruth’s loving memory to the family would be greatly appreciated. Services entrusted to Peggy J. Thompson, Funeral Director in Illinois and Indiana.
