Antonopoulos; fond aunt of Chris Tsiones, Vicky (Otto) Hallm and Nikolaos (Vasiliki) Antonopoulos; dear great-aunt of Jimmy (Rachel) Hallm, Stavroula N. and George N. Antonopoulos; dear great-aunt and godmother of Christina Hallm; great-great-aunt Christian and Joshua Hallm; fond cousin of Panagiote and Kanella Makantassis of Athens, Greece and Helen (George) Terasky of Athens, Greece; fond niece of the late Demetrios and Fotini Makantassis of Messinia and Athens, Greece. Religious Education Director and Parish Council member of her beloved St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, member of the board and past president of St. Demetrios Philoptochos, served on the Metropolis Religious Education Committee, member of St. John Chrysostom Oratorical Festival Committee, served as a member of CANA Curriculum Committee for the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese Religious Education Department, Brookline, Massachusetts, educator in the Chicago Public Schools, author of Religious Education texts, teacher to many children and adults. Visitation Wednesday from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. at SmithCorcoran Funeral Home, 6150 N. Cicero Ave. Family and friends will meet Thursday morning at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, 2727 W. Winona St., Chicago, IL 60625 for visitation from 11 a.m. until time of Funeral Service at 11:30 a.m. Interment Elmwood Cemetery.
