Daytime soaps are filled with hunky men and hottie women–just ask my mother. But sometimes these stars escape the dregs of daytime, even if only for a few hideously bad roles in prime time, or worse yet, direct-to-DVD movies. SoapNet gives you a look at some soap studs at 10 p.m. Thursday, but here’s a few current and past daytime dreamboats you may see in prime time.
Eddie Cibrian
Daytime: He had feature roles in “The Young and the Restless” and “The Bold and the Beautiful.”
Prime time: His dimples light up ABC’s hit “Invasion” more than the strangely lit aliens.
Austin Peck
Daytime: Austin on “Days of Our Lives.”
Prime time: He played Harmony in the ’05 TV movie “Mystery Woman: Sing Me a Murder.” Get it? Harmony?
Kyle Brandt
Daytime: Philip on “Days of Our Lives.”
Prime time: The guy from Hinsdale played himself on “The Real World: Chicago” in 2002.
Antonio Sabato Jr.
Daytime: Currently plays Dante on “B&B;” played Jagger on “General Hospital.”
Prime time: This guy’s been around–every D project there is. In 2005, he starred in “Deadly Skies” and “Jane Doe: Til Death Do Us Part.”
Shemar Moore
Daytime: Malcolm on “Y&R.”
Prime time: He must be hedging his bets in case CBS’ new crime drama “Criminal Minds” gets canceled.
