Richard E. Pine, 79, of Palos Park, formerly of Western Springs, IL, Navy Veteran of WWII, beloved husband of Shirley, nee McConaughey, for 54 years; loving father of Richard D. (Shirley) Pine, Sherrill (David) Boyer and Nancy (Joseph) Haberkorn; beloved grandfather of Erin, Alyson and Michelle Pine, Matthew and Spencer Boyer, Sarah, Joshua, Emily, Grace and Joey Haberkorn; preceded in death by siblings, Norbert, Patricia, Bernadine Fila and Edward. 36 year employee of the Western Electric Company and member of the Telephone Pioneers. Memorial Service at 3 p.m. Friday, Dec. 2 at Presbyterian Church of Western Springs, 5250 So. Wolf Road, Western Springs, IL 60558.
