This is regarding the photo caption “Tidying of the season” (Metro section, Dec. 2). The worker is not “dwarfed by the City of Chicago’s giant holiday tree . . . ” He is dwarfed by Chicago’s giant Christmas tree.

If it is an evergreen tree, decorated with lights and ornaments and displayed during December, it is a Christmas tree. Period, end of story. To call it a holiday tree is an insult to Jesus Christ and to Christians everywhere.
