Sharon Leichenger, nee Schneider, 58, of Evanston. For many years, Sharon devoted herself to teaching children and directing children’s programs at The Movement Center, a popular pre-school on the North Shore. She was also an enthusiastic volunteer at her own children’s elementary school, King Lab School in Evanston. Beloved wife for 30 years of Michael; loving mother of Jeffrey and Jessica; devoted daughter of Esther and the late Gerald “Jerry” Schneider; cherished sister of Harlene Mehrholz, Susan (Jonathan Starr) Schneider and Marcy (Frank) Locascio; special aunt of Robbie (Kelli) Mehrholz, Tracy (Kenneth) Martin, Erica and Jessie Starr, Jaime, Lindsey and Jaclyn Locascio; treasured great-aunt of Andrew, Sydney and Chelsea.
