This is in response to “Evolution debate” (Voice of the people, Dec. 10), by Christopher Fung, MD, and his take on intelligent design and evolution. If a person wishes to believe that there is an invisible being lurking among the trillions of galaxies, ready to zoom in on a single planet in a specific solar system in our galaxy, in order to give comfort to the spawned creatures dwelling there, then there’s no need to clutter up one’s mind with other possibilities.
Are the creatures from the other galaxies chopped liver? Evolution? Intelligent design? How many more theories and tales not yet conceived by the fertile mind of the human species are still out there awaiting an initial public offering?
Give it a rest, folks.
