John Custer, born into life April 10, 1924; entered into eternal life December 17, 2005. Loving husband of Juanita, nee Kaiser; dear father of Cheryl Brozenec, Marsha Zierk and Trudy (Tom) Sulita; proud grandfather of Julie (John) Slayton, Jonathan (Eva) Brozenec, Jamie (Allen) Baumgartner, David Zierk, Trina Sulita and Katie Sulita; great-grandfather of Alex and Jacob Baumgartner, Zachary and Madison Slayton and Samantha Brozenec. John served his country in Europe for 25 months during World War II. He graduated from Bensenville High School and St. Ambrose University in Davenport, Iowa. Resting at Geils Funeral Home, 180 S.
