Name: Roni Geva

‘Hood: Andersonville Age: 25

Favorite spots: Ringo (2507 N. Lincoln Ave. 773-248-5788), Artopolis (306 S. Halsted St. 312-559-9000), Kopi Cafe (5317 N. Clark St. 773-989-5674), Dave’s Italian Restaurant (1635 Chicago Ave., Evanston. 847-864-6000)

Review of Ringo: If you’ve ever dreamed of delightful, plentiful, fresh, reasonably priced and delicious sushi in a tiny room that seats about 14, Ringo is the intimate dining place for you. Plus … kind and attentive service.

My favorite romantic spot: Jane’s (1655 W. Cortland St. 773-862-5263). The atmosphere demands romance. The food demands sharing. The wine demands slight gulps with sideways glances at your date.

My last meal would be at: Home … with a splash of Grand Luxe Cafe (600 N. Michigan Ave. 312-276-2500). I would eat my mother’s spaghetti and order in a Grand Luxe Cafe chocolate lava cake a la mode.

My favorite under-the-radar-spot: Matsu Yama (1059 W. Belmont Ave. 773-327-8838). It’s delicious, friendly … (cheap-o-rama!), and service cares so much that they notice when I don’t order spicy food on my regular visits. I have eaten here at 11:59 p.m. and been welcomed with open arms (and large portions of impeccable sushi).

My guilty pleasure is: Carmen’s Pizza (6568 N. Sheridan Rd. 773-465-1700). Let’s talk about stuffed garlic Chicago-style pizza. Can we talk about my blocked and pained arteries? Can we talk about my saliva gathering … as I think about the smell of garlic and cheese, and the taste of freshly baked crust? Carmen’s Pizza, my cellulited thighs thank thee.
