A former middle school teacher was charged Thursday with stalking pupils by leaving threatening notes, including one that read, “Tick-tock, tick-tock, is it a bomb or is it a clock?”

Michelle Dohm, 40, a teacher for 18 years, denies the allegations. Dohm was fired from her job as a 6th-grade social studies teacher in mid-November and is charged with threatening to explode a destructive device and misdemeanor stalking.

One of the threatening notes was found in a boys’ bathroom a week after she was fired.
