John W. Patterson, son of Robert Henry Patterson and Mae R. Patterson; brother of Robert L. Patterson, all deceased. He was employeed by First National Bank for 37 years in Mortgage Deptartment. After Graduation from High School John enlisted in the Army Air Corps, he flew nine missions out of England, on April 8, 1945 was injured in an airplane crash. In 1949 he was discharged as a 2nd Lieutenant. Funeral Services for John Patterson will be at Sawyers/Fuller Funeral Home, in Berkley, MI. No arrangements have been made at this time. He died on December 23, at home after a short illness of Brain Cancer. In lieu of flowers memorials to your favorite charity in memory of John.
