Rev. Frank W. Plotka, 66, Pastor of the Immaculate Conception Church in Waukegan, IL passed away December 25, 2005 at the church rectory. He was the son of the late Frank J. and Mildred Plotka. Born July 26, 1939 in Chicago, IL. He is survived by his loving sister Lois May (the late Donald) Kruse; nieces and nephews Kristina (the late Randy) Kruse, Michelle Harper (the late Jeffery Kruse), Gregory Pike, Deborah (Bernard) Torri, Candace (Michael) Bargo, Paulette (Warren) Strietzel; 11 great-nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by sister Eva Rose (Edward) Pikel. On Thursday, December 29, 2005, at Immaculate Conception Church, 508 Grand Ave. Waukegan, IL 60085, Father Frank will be welcomed at 2 p.m. He will lay in state, 2 to 9 p.m., with a liturgical wake service at 7 p.m. and bilingual rosary at 8:30 p.m. On Friday, December 30, 2005 at Immaculate Conception Church he will lay in state from 9 to 11 a.m. with a funeral Mass at 11 a.m. celebrated by Francis Cardinal George, OMI. Burial Friday at 2 p.m. at Montrose Cemetery, 5400 N. Pulaski Rd., Chicago, IL 60630. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Immaculate Conception Church or to The American Heart Association.
