Thomas C. “Tom” Gorey, age 87, of Western Springs, formerly of Elmwood Park, U.S. Navy Veteran WWII, beloved husband of 65 years to Irene, nee Urban; devoted father of Carole (Russ) Beck, Mary Lynn (Stephen Smith) O’Shea, Patty (John) Coghlan, Tom (Julia Sarazine) Gorey, Kathie (Ed) Mattingly and the late Renee LaFayette; cherished grandfather of Emily, Brendan, Nora, Chelsea, Tess, Molly, Jayne and Claire.
