Jerome “Bud” Lewandowski, 78, of Edgerton, WI, passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 1, 2006 at the Haven House HospiceCare, Janesville. Bud was born on April 25, 1927 in Chicago, the son of the late Harry and Ida, nee Sroka, Lewandowski. He was united in marriage on Sept. 10, 1949 in Chicago to Constance “Connie” Wisniewski. They have lived in Edgerton since moving here from Chicago in 1987. Bud enjoyed fishing, yard work, puttering around the yard, woodworking, playing Yatzee and watching the History Channel. Bud was in the United States Navy during WWII. He was in the Pacific Theater and a member of the American Legion. He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Connie of Edgerton; three sons, Larry (Diana) Lewandowski of Deerfield, Jim (Eve Greenberg) Lewandowski of Gilbert, AZ and Norb (Linda) Lewandowski of Chicago; five grandchildren, James, Lori, Kelly, Gwen and Mark; one great-granddaughter, Cece. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, Feb. 6, 2006 at 11 a.m. at the Ehlert Funeral Home, State Hwy 51 S, Edgerton, with Father James J. Uppena officiating. Burial will be in the Fassett Cemetery. Friends may call on Sunday, Feb. 5, 2006 at the funeral home from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. and on Monday from 10 a.m. until the time of the Services. There will be full Military Services at the cemetery by the Edgerton Memorial Squad. In lieu of flowers, a Memorial Fund has been set up for the HospiceCare Inc., 3001 W.
