The Tribune states its support for the assault weapon ban (Editorial, Jan. 26). I am a citizen, a college graduate and an honorably discharged Army sergeant. How does the Tribune think that taking my self-loading rifle will make people safer? Will anything be improved by making me a criminal if I do not relinquish it?
