Nanotechnology on a societal scale
The complexities of nanoscale science, research and manufacturing will be examined at a NABIS Conference, titled “Nanotechnology in Society’s Context.”
The event, which is sponsored by NanoBusiness Alliance, Converging Technology Bar Association, and Illinois Institute of Technology’s Center on Nanotechnology and Society, will take place from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday at the University Club of Chicago, 76 E. Monroe St.
Sessions will cover the ethical, legal and societal implications of nanotechnology; setting the agenda for nanoethics; nanorisk; and the politics of nanotechnology on the human condition.
The cost to attend is $350.
