Ben Groenewold, of Manteno, age 83, died at Butterfield Court Senior Living Center, Kankakee, March 29, 2006. He was born March 19, 1923, in Chicago to John Groenewold and Martha Koolma. He married Phyllis, nee Medema, April 15, 1947. She died September 1, 2004. He was a bricklayer. Dear father of Jan (Lorraine) of Manteno, IL, George (Kara) of Yuma, AZ; loving grandfather of three.
