– Courtney Love, who says managing late husband Kurt Cobain’s estate is “overwhelming,” has sold 25 percent of her share in Nirvana’s publishing catalog, Rolling Stone reported on its Web site. The deal with Larry Mestel of Primary Wave Music Publishing is reportedly worth more than $50 million.
– Raj Bhakta, the aspiring “Apprentice” turned aspiring congressman, acknowledges he has been arrested twice on drunken-driving charges. Bhakta, a Republican fired by Donald Trump during the NBC reality show’s second season, is challenging Rep. Allyson Schwartz (D-Pa.). Last week he confirmed the authenticity of an arrest report posted on The Smoking Gun Web site and disclosed a second such arrest.
– The big winner at Nickelodeon’s Kids Choice Awards on Saturday was Green Day, claiming two trophies, favorite group and favorite song for “Wake Me Up When September Ends.”
