Luis “Ace” “Duo” Cruz Jr., born November 7, 1959, of Chicago, rested May 26, 2006, beloved son of Maria Reyes and the late Luis “Guillo”; loving father of Eddie, Cecilia, Tonia, Luis III, Nelson, Delilah, Tatiana and Tia; devoted grandfather of Anthony, D-J., Alexis, Daniel Jr., Victoria and Lauren; dearest and loving brother of Marvin (Mary Ann), Marilyn (Bruce) Carlson, Shirley (Andrew) Rodriguez, Migdali and Maria (Jerry) Cruz-Smith; devoted uncle of Tiffany, Destiny, Marvin Jr., Jazmine, Hevan, Jada, Dean “Gillo”, Cody, Dylon, Bianca, Chidysmarie and Hunter. He loved all of his “baybays”. He had a big heart, so loving and full of compassion. He loved everyone the same- as if they were his family and would give you his last dime. He lived by the model – Be good to those on the way up because you will need them on the way down. He enjoyed reading, watching crime stories and riding his motorcycle. He always found a way to make you laugh. Visitation Tuesday, 2 to 9 p.m. Funeral Wednesday, from Gugolinski-Trofimuk Funeral Home, 1850 N.
