Rocco M. Marelli, age 78, of Homewood, Naval Veteran WWII, beloved husband of Theresa Marelli, nee Palumbo; loving father of Michael (Diane) Marelli, Christine (Mitchell) Blount and Cindy (Bruce) Burke; dear brother of Gloria LeTourneau and the late Karmen Geraci and Geraldine Quinn; cherished grandfather of Giana (Nick) Bonneur, Danielle, James and the late Mikey Marelli, Tyler Blount, Mia and Cara Burke. Mr. Marelli was a retired School Administrator at Blue Island District #130; a Blue Island Rotarian; a 55 year member of the Chicago Federation of Musicians and an Adjunct Professor at Governor’s State University. Visitation Sunday, June 11, 2 to 8 p.m. at Ryan Funeral Home, 18022 Dixie Highway in Homewood. Funeral Monday 10:15 a.m. from funeral home to St. Joseph Church.
