Margaret E. “Marge” Carr, nee Ploger, age 80, of Lansing, passed away, Thursday, June 8, 2006. She is survived by her children, Joanne (Joseph) of Lansing, John (Deborah) of Frankfort, IL, James (Mary Jeane) of Frankfort, IL, and Roy of Schaumburg, IL; loving grandmother of eight; sisters, Josephine (late Anthony) Benik, Frances (late Donald) Carr; brother, John (Pat) Ploger; many nieces and nephews. Margaret was preceded in death by her husband Edward of 50 years; brothers, Henry and Clement Ploger. Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 12, 2006, at 8:30 a.m., from the Schroeder Lauer Funeral Home, 3227 Ridge Rd., Lansing, IL, to St. Ann Church, 3010 Ridge Rd., Lansing, IL, for a 9 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial. Interment Assumption, Glenwood, IL. Friends may visit with the family on Sunday from 2 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Margaret was a member of the Lansing Craft Club, the St. Ann Senior and Our Lady of Knock Senior Clubs. She was also a member of the Bloom Township Senior Organization and the Red Hat Society Organization. She was loved by all that knew her and she will be greatly missed.
