Jacob the Jeweler was arrested Thursday on money-laundering charges. The upscale jeweler (real name: Yakov Arabov), whose diamond-encrusted pieces are popular with celebrities, has been connected to a multistate drug and money-laundering ring by authorities, but a spokesman for his jewelry company called the arrest “the result of an unfortunate misunderstanding.”
