Clarice Leder of Western Springs, born June 29, 1920, in Cleveland, Ohio. Beloved wife of Joseph; loving mother of Cathy (George) VerStraeten and Debbie (Ken) Iding; devoted grandmother of Lindsey, Travis, Eric, Adam and Sean; great-grandmother of Sam, Jake and Trade; dear sister of Barbara (Richard) Kubat and Judy (the late Fred) Zaruba; devoted aunt of her nieces and nephews. Visitation Monday from 3 to 9 p.m. at Hallowell & James Funeral Home, 1025 W. 55th St., Countryside. Funeral Mass Tuesday, 11:15 a.m., at St. John of the Cross Church (51st & Wolf Rd.), Western Springs. Interment private. Clarice was a longtime volunteer with the Wellness House of Hinsdale and actively engaged in the eucharistic ministry at St. John of the Cross.
