Here’s the skinny on Keira Knightley: She doesn’t have an eating disorder.
Knightley, in London to promote “Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest,” was asked if she had anorexia after she wore a revealing Gucci dress to the movie’s premiere, reports The Associated Press. “I’m not saying there aren’t people in the film industry that suffer from it, because I am sure there are. But I’m quite sure I don’t have it,” she said.
“I’ve got a lot of experience with anorexia–my grandmother and great-grandmother suffered from it. … I know it’s not something to be taken lightly and I don’t.”
In other “Pirates” news, Johnny Depp told the AP on Tuesday that Keith Richards–Depp’s inspiration for the over-the-top Captain Jack Sparrow–will play his dad in the third movie.
