– Sheryl Crow says it was excruciating not being with her ex-fiance, Lance Armstrong, after she was diagnosed with breast cancer this year. “It was difficult, you know,” Crow tells Vanity Fair. “I know he wanted to be there.” The musician says the split was “devastating” for both of them. The star cyclist, who survived testicular cancer, says, “When I got that news [about Crow’s cancer diagnosis], I can’t even describe it. It was the cruelest twist.”

– Russell Crowe’s wife, Danielle Spencer, gave birth to their second child Friday, his manager in Australia said. Tennyson Spencer Crowe was born in a Sydney hospital, Crowe’s manager Grant Vandenberg said. It is the second child for the celebrity couple, and a brother for 2-year-old Charlie.

– After an explosive week in which she announced that she was fired from “The View,” and then traded barbs with former co-host Barbara Walters, Star Jones Reynolds is ready to move on. Starting Monday, she will serve a weeklong stint hosting HGTV’s “House Hunters,” helping buyers navigate the New York real estate market. After that her calendar is clear.
