Dominic Torreano, age 90, of Calumet City, IL passed away Wednesday, July 5, 2006. He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Bernice, nee Bednarz; beloved daughters Dr. Sharon (late Dr. Mathew) Kobak and Patricia Torreano who is a Chicago Public School Teacher; his cherished granddaughter Caroline; his fond brother John (Imra) Torreano; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 8, 2006, at 9:30 a.m., from Castle Hill Funeral Home, 248-155th Place, Calumet City, IL, to St. Andrew the Apostle Church for 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. Visitation Friday, 3 to 8 p.m. Mr. Torreano was a Navy Veteran of World War II and a member of the Veterans of Foreign War.
