Carol Sholl, 78, died July 6, 2006, in Rancho Mirage, CA. Born in Chicago on October 26, 1927 to Max and Faye Halper, Carol married Marv Sholl in 1949. Carol is survived by her husband Marv; her daughter Leslie Jaffe of Austin, Texas; and her two grandchildren, Dara and Gary Jaffe. Carol was preceded in death by her sons, Scott and Barry. Following Barry’s death, Carol and Marv dedicated themselves to raising awareness and money to fight AIDs. The family suggests that donations be made to the Desert AIDs Project in Palm Springs, CA.
