Heeren, Airforce Major, he served in WWII and the Korean Conflict, 90, died July 11, 2006, beloved husband of the late Myrtle (Herrlin) Heeren and the late Maurene (Egeland-Ziah) Heeren; loving father of Leanne (Bob) Hillier, Fred (Patty) Heeren, and Linda (Harold) Thomas; stepfather of John (Rev. Barbara) Ziah, Pam (Don) Munn, and Suellen (Jason) Satern; dear grandfather of 12; brother of the late Roelof Heeren, Nelly Cunningham, and Kay Wilson. Visitation Thursday, July 13, 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. immediately followed by funeral service at the Evangelical Free Church of Des Plaines, 55 W. Golf Road.
