Guenther Siegel, loving father of Isabell (Gustavo Abello) and Juergen; dearest grandfather of Elizabeth Abello and Connor Siegel; brother of Horst; great friend of countless. Guenther emigrated from Germany to the United States in 1956. He founded the Electric Motor Corporation in 1959 and remained as President until the present. He was a member of several committees of the Electrical Apparatus Service Association. Guenther was a passionate sailor; former member of Columbia Yacht Club; completed over 25 Chicago-Mackinac races. Guenther was also an avid skier and former president of the Alpine Ski Club. Visitation Saturday, July 22, from 12 noon to 1 p.m. in the chapel at Holy Name Cathedral, 735 N. State St., Chicago. Funeral Mass at 1 p.m. in the church. Please omit flowers.
