Inessa Fishkin, 55, native of Minsk, Ukraine; former librarian and bookkeeper; poet and student of arts and literature; linguist, conversationalist, tarot reader and all-around free-thinker. Passed away July 16, 2006 after a valiant battle with breast cancer. Daughter of the late Girsh and Mira Fishkin. Inessa leaves behind many dear friends within various communities. Memorial services are being planned. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to Gilda’s Club, 537 N. Wells, Chicago, IL 60610 or to any breast cancer support or research group.
