James Lupo, age 84, longtime Mt. Greenwood and Roseland resident passed away peacefully on July 26. City of Chicago Water Dept. retiree, U.S. Army Veteran WWII. Husband for 47 years of Frances, nee Mazza; father of Anthony (Jacqueline), and Domenic (Barbi); “grampa” of Vincenzo, Gina, and Domenic; brother of the late Grace Sferino, Josephine Rinella, Helen Madson, Dominic, Costie, and Anthony Lupo; loving uncle and dear friend of many. Resting at the Edgar Funeral Home, 10900 S. Cicero Ave., Oak Lawn on Friday from 2 to 9 p.m. Funeral Saturday, 8:45 a.m. to St. Christina Church, 111th and Homan, Chicago.
