Lorraine Payonk, nee Wisniewski, 76, of Dublin, Ohio passed away July 28, 2006 at Riverside Hospital with her family present. Born July 10, 1930 in Chicago, Illinois, she was a warmhearted woman who never failed to bring a smile to the face of anyone she met. Lorraine was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt. She was preceded in death by her brother, Edward Wisniewski of Braidwood, Illinois in June of this year. She is survived by sisters, Josephine Wittwer of Buena Vista, CO and Irene Szura of Park Ridge, Illinois; husband, Andrew Payonk of Columbus; children, Diane (Thomas) Tedeschi of Columbus, Steve Payonk of Cincinnati, Ohio, Robert (Kathy) Payonk of Fort Wayne, IN, Karen (John) Martino of Fort Wayne, IN; grandchildren, Emily, Andrew, Aaron, Jennie, Nickie, and Catie. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, August 1, 2006 at St. Timothy’s Catholic Church, 1070 Thomas Lane, Columbus, Ohio. Friends may call 9 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at Rutherford-Corbin Funeral Home, 515 High Street, Worthington, Ohio. Burial Resurrection Cemetery.
