Louise A. Ruf, nee Whitfield, age 94, of Dolton, formerly of Riverdale, passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 12, 2006. Beloved wife of the late Bennett; loving mother of Carol (the late Armando) Garcia; dear grandmother of Janet (John) Cameron, Nick Donato and Julie (fiancee Paul Quezada) Garcia; dearest great-grandmother of Jeanne and David Cameron and Michael Garcia. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Sept. 14 at 8:30 p.m., at the Schroeder-Lauer Funeral Home, 3227 Ridge Rd., Lansing. Cremation will follow. Friends may visit with the family on Thursday beginning at 2:00 p.m. Mrs. Ruf was a long time member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Dolton and a long time resident of the Dorchester Senior Center. info 708/474/0024.
