Janis Deets, nee Harloff, of Evanston, passed away Sept. 26, 2006, beloved wife of the late Raymond F. Deets; dear daughter of Gunda and the late Fred Harloff; fond sister of Sharon Dillon; devoted aunt of Ann (Michael) McHugh, Michael (Eileen) Dillon and Thomas (Marijane) Dillon; great-aunt of 13 nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held Monday, Oct. 2, 11 a.m. at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 1334 Wesley Ave., Evanston, IL 60201. Interment private. Memorial donations to Bethlehem Lutheran Church or Midwest Palliative and Hospice Care Center, 2050 Claire Court, Glenview, IL 60025-7635, would be appreciated.
