Daniel E. Carney, age 74, beloved son of the late John F. and Delphine, nee Hoffman, Carney; brother of the late Jack (late Janet) and the late Larry (Nancy); uncle of Michael, Barbara, Mimi, Denise, Nancy, Larry, Thomas, Penny, Linda, Brian, Kevin and the late John; great-uncle of many nieces and nephews; survived by a host of friends. A celebration of his life will be held on Sunday, October 8, at 11 a.m. at the Smith-Corcoran Funeral Home, 6150 N. Cicero Ave. Interment will be private at Sacred Heart Cemetery.
