One day after coach Scott Skiles stopped practice several times to chastise him for not knowing plays, the Bulls waived Eric Chenowith. The 7-foot-1-inch center won’t get the opportunity to play against Seattle at Kansas, his alma mater, on Oct. 15.
Simply put, no new big body is outplaying Luke Schenscher, who remains the favorite for the 15th and final roster spot after playing 23 games with the Bulls last season.
“Luke has put in time lifting,” Skiles said. “He’s moving down the floor better. He’s making his little hooks.”
