Retired Telephone Foreman for Illinois Bell. Married to Louise, nee Wolf, Lehnert of Evergreen Park, IL on August 16, 1942; father of Larry (Ellen) Lehnert of Wheaton, IL; grandfather of three; great-grandfather to three; also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents, stepmother, Gracie Lehnert, brother, Elwyne A. Lehnert (1976), son, Lester Allen Lehnert (1983). A U.S. Army Air Force Veteran.
