Northern Illinois at Iowa11 a.m., ESPNU
Iowa coach Kirk Ferentz knows all about NIU tailback Garrett Wolfe and his teammates. Wolfe, despite two straight games under 100 yards, leads the nation in rushing at 176.6 yards per game.
“Temple held him, but they gave up 9 million passing yards, so that’s really not a great answer,” Ferentz said. “Western Michigan just played a real good game against him. That’s probably an aberration. Other than that, he’s run against everybody. Big Ten, MAC, it doesn’t matter.”
Notre Dame vs. Navy 11 a.m., CBS
When Navy meets Notre Dame, it will be led by sophomore quarterback Kaipo-Noa Kaheaku-Enhada making his first career start. But Kaheaku-Enhada has plenty of experience running Navy’s triple-threat option. “I’ve been around this offense for a while, through high school,” Kaheaku-Enhada said.
Northwestern at Michigan

With Nick Roach out with a broken leg, junior middle linebacker Adam Kadela assumes a leadership role. Northwestern’s big challenge will be containing Heisman Trophy candidate Mike Hart. “He can run you over, and he plays as hard as any back I’ve ever seen,” Kadela said
