Veronica “Ronnie” Carlson, nee Keenan, age 94 of Holland, MI, formerly of Chicago, died Friday, October 27, 2006 at Lakeside Vista and Villas. Beloved wife of the late Wilbur “Bill” Carlson; loving mother of David (Masako) Carlson, Maureen (Louis) Sytsma and Kathleen Goncalves; proud grandmother of Marilyn Robinson, Arthur Carlson and Michael (Sara) Goncalves; great-grandmother of Kaitlyn, Jeremy and Jacob; fond sister of the late Joseph Keenan, Loretta Ryan, John Keenan, Eileen Byrne, James Keenan, Katie Keenan and Hugh Keenan. Veronica was a quiet poet who championed just causes. Her life was guided by common sense and intuition. She was a member of St. Linus Church for many years. She loved her church and family above all else and her loyalty was unmatched. Visitation Tuesday, October 31, 2006 from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at Blake-Lamb Funeral Home, 4727 W. 103rd St., Oak Lawn, to St. Linus Church, for Mass of the Resurrection at 11 a.m. Interment Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
