I would like to thank Jim Hendry for providing central Illinois Cubs fans with a long and very painful off-season that began with the Cardinals winning the World Series. Jim, didn’t you get the picture that this was supposed to be the Cubs’ year after Boston in 2004 and the White Sox won it all last year? Apparently not.
