Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

I, and I assume many others, am fed up with listening to Jerry Angelo’s self-righteous rhetoric about character and then seeing his actions prove otherwise. Tank Johnson let the Bears down not once but three times in the last year and by any reasonable measure, three strikes and you’re out. By not releasing Johnson and failing to establish at least a minimum standard of conduct for players, Angelo demonstrates that all he cares about is winning and protecting his investment in a second-round draft choice.

I suspect the Bears would be better off in the playoffs without Johnson, despite his skills, because his presence will be a distraction in the media and the locker room. Cohesion and focus are keys to winning playoff games, and if you don’t have them, you lose.
