Lillian Gruenberg, 96, passed away Dec. 28, 2006. Daughter of Rose, nee Stillman, and Louis Avchin, obm; her husband, Ben Gruenberg, predeceased her; she is survived by her daughters, Linda (Robert) Harth and Susan (Leonard) Hersh; six grandchildren, Michael (Cheryl) Hersch, Bonnie (Patrick) Tucker, Lori (Jeff) Sheldon, Rona (Bruce) Elder, Ira (Laura Kahan) Harth and Ben (Rachel Kotok) Harth; 13 great-grandchildren, Joshua, Noah and Eli Elder, Ariella and Samuel Kahan-Harth, Jeremiah and Sarah Sheldon, Michael Patrick and L.E. (Ellie) Tucker and Adam, Austin, Brandi and Brayden Hersh; sisters Estelle Altman and Bernice Greenewalt. May her name be remembered as a blessing in the house of Israel forever. Funeral on Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2007, at Noon, at Hillside Mortuary, Los Angeles. Shiva at the home of Susan Hersh, Fountain Valley, CA.
