The Schaumburg Township Council of PTAs is offering one-year $1,500 scholarships to eligible high school seniors graduating in 2007. Up to two scholarships to a junior college, trade or vocational school will be available for seniors graduating in the upper 50 percent of their class; up to nine scholarships to four-year colleges and universities will be available for seniors graduating in the upper 30 percent of their class; and one Bonnie Greenberg Memorial Scholarship will be available for a special-needs senior with a current individualized education plan. All seniors must have attended a District 54 elementary school for at least one year and a District 54 junior high school for two years, and will attend an accredited university, college, junior college, or trade or vocational school upon graduation.
