Mathilda Anne Hehner, died on Saturday, Dec. 30, 2006, at Condell Hospital in Libertyville. She was born on April 1, 1908, in Marion, WI. After high school graduation she moved to Highland Park, IL, where she resided until moving to Winchester House in 2002. Her first job was working for the railroad during the 1926 International Eucharistic Congress in Mundelein, the largest movement of people by rail in the history of the country. She later worked for the American Can, the North Shore Line Railroad and Washington National Insurance. She is survived by a brother, Elmer; and a niece, Carol of Marion, WI; and other family members and friends, whose lives she enriched with her presence. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Jan. 6, 2007, 10 a.m., at Kelley & Spalding Funeral Home, 1787 Deerfield Rd., Highland Park, IL.
