Jayne E. Long, 84, of Chapel Hill, NC, formerly of Gillet, WI, died Jan. 1, 2007 at Chapel Hill Rehabilitation Center. She graduated from DeVilbiss High School in Toledo, Ohio and was a housewife in Monroe, MI. She retired many years ago from Wieboldt’s Department Store in Oak Park, IL. Her husband of 65 years, Donald died on July 8, 2005. Survivors include her son, William, of Columbus, TX, daughter, Nancy Rohr of Chapel Hill, NC; four grandsons; and 11 great-grandchildren. Cremation has taken place. The family will gather in the future for a memorial.
