Emma E. Ackman, 89, of Woodstock, formerly of Huntley, Marengo and Friendship, WI, at rest April 11, 2007, she was the beloved wife of the late Leonard G.; loving mother of Leonard G. (Penny) Ackman Jr. and Kay (Warren) Wascher; cherished grandmother of five; and step grandmother of one; proud great-grandmother of six; and step great-grandmother of two; dear sister of Ila Mae Carroll and Monroe (Joyce) Smith Jr. Mrs. Ackman and her husband raised their family in Huntley where they operated Len and Em’s Tap & Grill for many years. Funeral services 12 noon Saturday, April 14 at the James A. O’Connor Funeral Home, 11603 E. Main St., Huntley. Visitation prior to services on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 12 noon.
