The Dalai Lama will lead two events in Chicago on Sunday. Tickets must be purchased in advance, and just a few lawn tickets remained as of Thursday for the Millennium Park speech, while the Harris Theater event was sold out.
Lawn tickets must be bought in person at the Harris Theater Box Office, 205 E. Randolph St. Proceeds will go in part to finding a permanent home for a Tibetan-American Center for Cross-Cultural Understanding.
For security reasons, you cannot bring backpacks, briefcases, large purses, cameras or recording equipment to either of the events. Lawn ticket-holders for the Millennium Park event can bring picnic food, low lawn chairs and blankets, but no alcohol, tents or tables.
Arrive early because you have to go through metal detectors. For more details visit dalailamachicago.com.
