What’s in store

Bucktown’s best makeover Bucktown’s Daffodil Hill has a new name — and a fresh new look: Riley (1659 N. Damen Ave.; 773-489-0101). Where Daffodil Hill had a shabby chic vibe and stocked everything from clothing to home items and baby goods, Riley focuses on fashion and jewelry, adding a men’s selection to the mix. Comfort is the guiding principle, says owner Stephanie Riley, with tees from Michael Stars, American Vintage and Flux Nouveau ranging from basic shirts to embellished tunics. The store also carries jeans, delicate silk camis from Diane Samandi and feminine dresses from Loona. The men’s apparel includes casual basics like long-sleeve button downs from Johnny Cotton and cargo pants from Jet Lag. — Chicago Magazine
