Lorrayn Emily Harriet Hames, nee Drucker, age 83, of Park Ridge, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family. Beloved wife and companion of David for 64 years; wonderful mother of Leslie (Lawrence) Osterberg, Sandy (Rich) Jura, Debra (Doug) Moench, Susan (Robert) Jura, Patti Kargakis and the late baby, David Jonathan James; sweet grandma of Derek, Richard, Terra and Kelly; loving sister of Paul Drucker and Josephine Fulgham; and dear cousin of Jerry Buxbaum. Born July 15, 1923, Lorrayn graduated from Waller High School in Chicago where she met her husband David. She found great happiness in raising her children, caring for her family and spending time with her friends and loved ones. Her kind heart touched many and we are better for having known her. She will be truly missed but will remain with us in our hearts and wonderful memories will make us smile once again. The James family would like to extend a special thank you to many friends and family members for the cards, phone calls and visits which brightened Lorrayn’s final weeks. Visitation will be Monday, May 7, 2007 from 3 to 9 p.m. and service will be Tuesday, May 8, 2007 at 11 a.m. at The M.J. Suerth Funeral Home, 6754 N. Northwest Highway, Chicago.
